David Sancious Trio/Mahavishnu Project
He's Back! David Sancious, the seminal jazz-rock fusion keyboardist/composer who has been the keyboardist of choice for everyone from Sting to Stanley Clarke, Peter Gabriel, Jon Anderson and Santana. Sancious' records on Arista and Epic with his band Tone ("True Stories", "Just As I Thought", "Forest of Feelings" & "Transformation") are widely considered some of the most important of the entire fusion movement. Sancious is currently taking a break from touring with Eric Clapton to play the first shows of his original music in many years! He's joined by Will Calhoun and Doug Wimbish, the stunning drummer and incredible bassist from Black Rock Coalition wunderkinds, Living Color. Their music is an incredible blend of jazz, rock, funk, classical and worldbeat.
